We have older puppies and adults waiting for a home like yours.
Our dogs leave vet checked, microchipped, basic shots current and spayed or neutered. For an extra fee,transportation is available to approved homes. We are located on the IA/MO line near Kirksville, MO and are State licensed and inspected as a private rescue shelter. We have been providing refuge and adoptions at this location for over 5 years and have been involved with rescue for over 12 years now.

Our rescue shelter is home to many needy dogs from this area, and from shelters around the US. While we specialize to the unique needs of what some call "puppy mill dogs", we also help labs, hounds and many other hard to adopt dogs.
Our rescue shelter is unique in many ways. While we are not able to provide dogs the type enviroment a foster home can, we can provide immediate help to those schedule to die and in need of a place to stay , while waiting for a foster placement , breed rescue or a forever home.
Our rescue shelter is a great transition home for the unique needs of some retiring breed dogs, and it helps shelter dogs relearn simply "how to be a dog" and basic manners that come just from that.
